Welcome to River Forest Lodge located in East Hickory, Pennsylvania, 10 minutes north of Tionesta in Forest County.  River Forest Lodge is the perfect destination for getting back to nature. 

Nestled between the Allegheny River and Allegheny National Forest. the Lodge is located on seven beautiful, private acres with 450 feet of Allegheny riverfront to provide hours of water-filled fun.  At River Forest you can fish, swim, canoe, kayak, or simply enjoy the peaceful view of the Allegheny River and surrounding mountains and forest.

The ideal venue for family gatherings, River Forest Lodge consists of a rustic main cabin and separate bunkhouse, which all together sleep 12 guests.  The main cabin consists of a kitchen and living area along with one bedroom, a new bathroom, and wraparound deck overlooking the Allegheny River. 

The bunkhouse and a second, updated bathroom with laundry facilities, are separate from the main cabin.  A large private pavilion with electricity, picnic tables, and outside firepit is situated between the main cabin and bunkhouse.  This centrally located pavilion is an wonderful gathering place and adds to the enjoyment of being outdoors.  Plenty of parking is available.

River Forest Lodge is very private, but easily accessible, with convenience, beverage, and pizza shops only one mile away.   For your water adventures, three canoes are included with rental.  River Forest Lodge is a kid friendly, rustic, peacful getaway - an outstanding value for family gatherings.
